Mike Cibulka


Mike Cibulka - President

Micheal Cibulka has extensive experience in directing, growing and managing successful companies.

Michael Cibulka's experience in the information technology services industry spans four decades. He has an entrepreneurial spirit that is the basis for his success. He has worked in all sizes of companies and been the catalyst for growth in each of these. He is adept at developing relationships that lead to trust and candor when approaching problem situations. He finds creative solutions that focus on win-win aspects assuring complete buy-in from all parties. He is recognized as a hands-on leader who can rapidly identify opportunities and issues, help initiate change and gain consensus from all constituencies to move forward together to accomplish the stated goals.

Mike is a team-oriented leader, acknowledged for his exceptional ability to empower others, create trust and motivate at all levels in the organization. He is recognized for assisting individuals in the achievement of their personal as well as the company's goals.

After a successful period at Xerox starting in 1973, in which he held various sales and marketing positions, he was recruited to lead a nationwide network of dealers and their sales organizations for Windsor Wood Windows. Subsequently, he spent the next 7 years building the organization in the southeast region for another window company. In 1987 he joined Dataserv, a BellSouth company, to foster and grow their technology support business. Within 3 years it grew from $4 million in revenue to over $33 million. Mike was a Senior Vice President and member of the Dataserv board prior to leaving in 1993. It was then that Cibulka founded Delta Parts which, three years later, became the cornerstone for ExpressPoint. With money from the sale of his home and some seed money from a few friends, he formed ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc. which grew to the point that in 1999 it was awarded "Minnesota 's Fastest Growing Company" by City Business magazine. In addition to being Chairman and Founder of ExpressPoint, he has served on the Boards of Benilde St. Margaret's School, the Namakagon Lake Association and Special Olympics Minnesota.

Cibulka earned a B.S. in Economics, Business Administration as well as Sociology from Westminster College, in Fulton, Missouri. He has attended multiple executive education classes including: "Negotiation & Managerial Decision Making Skills for Executives", "Making Corporate Boards more Effective" and "Leading Change and Organizational Renewal" at the Harvard Business School . He has also attended the "Creating the Market-Focused Organization" at the Kellogg School of Management.

Steve Van Ginkel


Steve Van Ginkel - Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Steve Van Ginkel joins iTechnicians.net after heading Amerikit Technology Solutions (ATS) efforts to become the leading provider of enhanced re-mote services (product and installation) to Gateway Computers.

A 15-year high-tech veteran, Van Ginkel has extensive experience selling and positioning complex solutions in value-based selling situations.

Prior to ATS, Van Ginkel was a regional director of sales at Gateway Computer Corporation, where he had an overall sales responsibility for $40M within a company segment in the commercial sector. Part of his responsibility included managing Gateway's Microsoft account as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation relationship.

In addition to his operational duties Steve serves on ITNs Board of Directors. Steve Van Ginkel holds a B.S.B.A. from Northwestern College.

Richard P. Daly


Richard P. Daly - Director/Advisor

Richard P. Daly is the President of CONSATECH, Inc., a management consulting and investment firm founded in 1986 and specializing in serving emerging companies, particularly in the computer software and services industry.

Mr. Daly received both Bachelor of Engineering and Business degrees as well as an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Over the past eighteen years, he has served as a business advisor to over 200 start-up and emerging computer software and service companies, has been the founder of ten, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for several companies. He has had broad experience in the planning and implementation of business and product strategies for these companies with particular emphasis on market-driven, high-growth rate environments.

From 1971 through 1984, as the CEO of Comserv Corporation, Mr. Daly has had extensive experience with developing and marketing application software products. This included expansion into the international market; setting up sales offices in London, Frankfurt, Paris, and Dublin; and establishing product development and support facilities in Ireland.

In addition, as the CEO of publicly held companies for over 25 years, Mr. Daly is highly knowledgeable in developing and implementing financial plans to successfully meet both "start-up" financing as well as other significant financial needs of rapidly growing, emerging companies.

Beginning in 1988, Mr. Daly has played a very active role as an officer and director in building the Minnesota Software Association which was merged with the Minnesota High Tech Council to form the 500 member Minnesota High Tech Association (MNHTA). In 1993, Mr. Daly incorporated the Software Technology Center (STC), a not-for-profit Minnesota corporation, organized to help software developers in the North Central region of the United States bring higher quality products to market more quickly. In 1998, both MSA and the STC were merged with the Minnesota High Tech Council to form the Minnesota High Tech Association.

Mr. Daly has played a very active role at his alma mater, the University of Minnesota. He is a lifetime member of the Alumni Association, officer and director of the Institute of Technology Alumni Society, and is involved in numerous activities including mentoring graduate students at the Carlson School of Management.
